Tips For Attending

Should I bring someone with me to the event?

Yes! Your fiancé, family members, wedding party, and friends can be a great asset to you as you plan your wedding. They can collect information, provide valuable input, give you support, and assist in decision making. Over 50% of our brides bring several guests with them. Even if you can't attend, please send anyone you wish to collect information for you, the show is completely open to the public.

Are Advance Tickets Available?

Yes you can purchase tickets online after you REGISTER to attend. Purchasing advance tickets will save you valuable time at the door, and you will also receive a 20% discount off our admission price. If you already purchased tickets and did not receive them via email, there will be a will call booth where you can pick up your tickets. You can also re-print them from within your account. To reprint, simply log in to your account and from your home page look for the bridal shows section. There you can view your ticket purchase. Another option to purchase tickets is from our menu bar on our home page, look for the 'Buy Tickets' button, this transaction will not be recorded in your account so in order to reprint tickets you will need to contact us.

How long should I plan to stay at the event?

You should plan on attending for the duration of the event to enjoy the entire experience. You'll need the time to meet with hundreds of bridal businesses, sample wedding cakes and wedding caterer offerings, enjoy wedding DJ music, watch the hourly bridal fashion previews, and much more! So plan on getting there early, wear comfortable shoes and enjoy your day!

How many and what types of businesses will I see at an event?

Hundreds of wedding businesses exhibit at our events. The more than 50 different types of wedding products and services exhibit at our shows covering everything from the necessities you†ll need for your wedding day, to planning your honeymoon and even settling into your new married life.

What should I bring to the event?

Pre-Printed Address Labels/Business Cards

Many of the vendors will ask you for contact information to enter you in drawings to win extras for your wedding day. Filling out your name and phone number over and over can get tiring. Be sure to register with everyone so that you will be eligible to win the great prizes they give away. This also assists the vendor in following up with you.

Business cards are another option. By using computer printed business cards you can include other information not found on a typical address label such as groom's name and wedding date. By printing the cards on your home computer you can save on the cost.


Some vendors offer special show discounts if you book them the day of the show. Keep in mind certain vendors can only handle one wedding per day and their date books fill quickly. For that must-have vendor, be ready to reserve your date!


You will want to bring a calendar with you so you can make appointments with the businesses that you have an interest in. Remember that the show is a bit overwhelming and you will want to schedule as many one-on-one consultations after the show as you can… One decision at a time and your calendar will help you keep all of your appointments in order.

How does the registration process work at the show?

Once you enter the show you will be directed to the one of the two registration areas. Our VIP side is for the brides that have preregistered online. Once checked in, you will receive a few things from us to enhance your show going experience, including a bridal bag, a sticker defining your wedding month, a Forever Bridal pen, and a wedding organizer (quantities limited).

How is my email address protected?

The safety of our brides is our number one priority and we take protecting your information very seriously. Your information is kept in a secure environment within our own custom designed software. Our participating vendors will not have access to your email address, but will have the ability to email you through our system if you give them permission via your personal account. You have complete control over this feature : Please login to your account and update your vendors as you go through your planning process. Your personal account is created when you register on line or when you register at the show.

How long are the fashion shows?

Our fashion previews are the most exciting feature of the show and last about 30 minutes each. They take place throughout the day to give you the chance to see one or all of them. Prior to each fashion preview, we host interactive games to give brides a chance to win some great prizes. These games have been putting smiles on faces for over 15 years and they are hosted by our staff and professional emcee.

How much literature will I receive at the show?

You will acquire a lot of information from our shows. With hundreds of vendors, expect a ton of material to be offered to you. Take what you want and what you feel you will need to make an informed decision about that company. Ask for pricelists as well. You may also want to use a two bag system giving you the ability to sort the information you want into two bags of interest. Keep both so you will have access to everyone's material for comparison.

Will there be drinks at the show?

Yes there will be, but only a small amount of businesses at the show will offer something to drink. There is an on premise concession area and vending machines. Most food purveyors like the caterers, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, etc provide small samples of their product. You may want to bring a water bottle with you to avoid lines.
